Its starting to look like a real loft conversion now.

Wednesday week 13

The dormer grows. The builders have left us watertight for the night (I hope)

Tuesday week 13

Tuesday and the dormer is starting to take shape.

Monday Week 13

Over the weekend we had rain in our bedroom a couple of times. Chris went up in the loft 3 times Saturday night, he was successful at keeping us dry.
Monday was lovely and dry and the builders filled the loft with flooring joists.

Friday week 12

Today has been more stuff in the loft with joists and what looks like random planks of wood if I'm honest!! I think Monday the plan is to finish putting joists in the loft and then to start on the dormer during the rest of the week. All getting exciting really.
The most exciting bit of today though was the nest found in our loft. Chris found and removed a very large wasps nest from the eaves. He had to cut it out due to its position and then after showing it to the girls we have left it at the school for them to use for educational purposes.

Thursday week 12

Today has been the turn of the joists in the loft. Sorting all the big supporting stuff for the loft. Big 7by3 inch bits of wood attached to each other and bits of steel!! I think they'll be in the loft for most of the week
